BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Gina Embry is from a law enforcement family. She has over 20 years of experience in the field of psychology, having the privilege of serving individuals, couples, families, and groups. Dr. Embry has experience working with issues such as trauma, domestic and intimate partner violence, and substance abuse. Currently, she is researching the history of policing in urban communities.

Dr. Embry implements a mindfulness-based approach to psychological health and well-being. She maintains a Cognitive-Behavioral orientation, utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy to address issues related to emotional disregulation.
