Dr. Michael Ashley Albin is a highly accomplished general surgeon based in Pasadena, California. He is board certified by the American Board of General Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Albin is affiliated with multiple hospitals, including St. Mary Medical Center-Long Beach and California Hospital Medical Center.

He specializes in hernia surgery and works at the Hernia Center of Southern California, where he collaborates with his father, Dr. David Albin. Dr. Michael Albin is known for his expertise in both laparoscopic and open hernia repair techniques. He is also active in the American Hernia Society and contributes to the field through publications and presentations.
 

In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Albin is involved in community service as an emergency responder and a volunteer physician for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department’s Air rescue helicopter.
